Sink Your Teeth into the Dark Comedy of the Year

Meet New Orleans' Unlikeliest Hero in FAT WHITE VAMPIRE BLUES

Welcome to the darkly comedic world of Fat White Vampire Blues, where the vibrant streets of New Orleans meet the eccentric life of Jules Duchon—a 450-pound vampire with a taste for trouble and high-calorie blood. In a city that thrives on mystery and magic, Jules finds himself facing his biggest challenge yet when a new vampire, the muscle-bound Malice, claims dominion over New Orleans. As Jules navigates the chaos of his undead existence, he turns to his fiery old flame, Maureen, and his estranged protégé, Doodlebug, to help reclaim his territory.

With the city's most iconic backdrops, including the lively Bourbon Street and historic St. Joseph Church, Jules embarks on a wild journey of redemption, battling his inner demons and proving that even a fat, white vampire can be a hero. Fat White Vampire Blues is a hilarious, heartwarming, and unforgettable ride through the unique charm of New Orleans, blending humor with the timeless struggle between good and evil. Prepare to laugh, cheer, and crave more as you step into Jules Duchon’s world—where being a hero sometimes means stepping out of your own darkness.

Director's Vision

Fat White Vampire Blues is more than just a dark comedy—it's a love letter to the strange, the absurd, and the deeply human. New Orleans, with its rich history and vibrant culture, is the perfect backdrop for a story that explores what it means to be an outsider, to wrestle with your identity, and to find redemption in the most unlikely of places.

Jules Duchon is not your typical vampire. He’s flawed, he’s funny, and he’s fighting against the current of a world that’s constantly changing around him. This film is about embracing those imperfections, about finding strength in vulnerability, and about the joy of laughing in the face of darkness. Even if you are the darkness.

As a director, my goal is to bring Jules’ story to life with the same humor and heart that made the original book a cult classic. I want audiences to feel the pulse of New Orleans in every frame, to see the beauty in the ridiculous, and to leave the theater with a smile on their faces—Jules isn't just flying by the seat of his pants, he's losing them all together - and often!
